Pelican Bay recently underwent an extensive upgrade of network services by transitioning to Summit Broadband, a high-speed Internet, data, voice and cable television provider in Central and Southwest Florida. This move signifies Pelican Bay’s commitment to ensuring residents have only first-class amenities at their fingertips.
As of this spring, the vast majority of Pelican Bay residents have transitioned to Summit’s services, and are enjoying more services and features than have previously been available at Pelican Bay, including:
• Greatly improved Internet speeds of 100 Mbps download/20 Mbps upload
• Over 120 standard channels, over 150 popular High Definition channels, 12 Encore movie channels and over 50 digital music channels
• A High Definition set-top/connection box at no cost
• Exciting features like “TV Anywhere” and Video On Demand
Summit service is provided to Pelican Bay members through a Bulk Services Agreement for the entire community, so service fees are paid as part of residents’ Annual Assessment.
